What coverage is required to access therapy services?
We accept both Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program) and private payment. Families with Medicaid can access services at no cost once referred by a doctor.
Do I need prior authorization for my child to receive home-based therapy through medicaid?
For children covered by Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program), a doctor’s referral is required, and prior authorization must be approved before services begin. Don’t worry, we’ll handle the paperwork and coordinate directly with your child’s doctor and Medicaid. Our team will keep you updated throughout the process, so you know exactly what to expect.
What if we're paying privately - do we still need a doctor's referral?
Yes, Even for private pay services, a doctor’s referral is required before we begin therapy. This ensures that services are clinically appropriate and aligned with Colorado state regulations for home health care. We’re happy to help guide you through the referral process if needed.
